Thursday, 18 June 2009
This recipe book was created to accompany Health Challenge Gwynedd’s cookery skills course.
Health Challenge Gwynedd would like to thank the Cymorth fund for its financial support to hold cookery skills courses and also to Anwylyd Jones, cookery skills trainer, who has contributed greatly to the content. Thanks also to Pauline Rigby, Dietician.
Here are a few words from our Partners
Coleg Menai are very pleased to have the opportunity to work with local authorities and partners in the community to offer courses that meet the needs of the local community. The courses which we support are aimed at young parents who want to know more about cooking nutritious food (within a budget) for the family.
The course is practical and gives parents the opportunity to develop and practice their cooking skills under the guidance of an experienced tutor. Successful students will win Open Collage credits at the end of the course.
Cymorth
Cymorth – the Children and Youth Support Fund” aims to provide a network of targeted support in order to improve the life chances of children and young people from disadvantaged families.
The ‘Eat Clever’ scheme is supported because reducing inequalities is a priority. The scheme promotes the healthy development of each child and individual which is a key step in ensuring that children enjoy physical, mental and social health.
