Fruit smoothie
For an easy way to get your 5 a day why not try making a fruit smoothie, its easy cheap and healthy!
TIP: Try using different types of fresh, canned or frozen fruit, as well as other types of yogurt.What you need
- 300ml (1/2 pint) semi skimmed-milk
- 1 small carton fruit yogurt
- 1 banana
- 4-6 strawberries
Equipment
- Blender (liquidiser)
- Knife
- Chopping board
- (Get and adult to help you out)
What to do
- Add the fruit, yogurt and milk to the blender and switch on for 30 seconds - ensure the lid is secure.
- Check if the fruit is blended. If not, switch on the blender again.
- Pour the smoothie into glasses.
